Kayja Becker - Owner & Principal Instructor


Born and raised in the Columbia Valley, Miss Kayja is proud to call Invermere home. She currently sits as a councillor on the District of Invermere Town Council, and is passionate about providing opportunities for growth to the youth in the community. 


Miss Kayja has been dancing since the age of 4 in the Invermere, and understands the benefit that dance classes provide.  She has training in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, musical theatre and contemporary, completing several examinations with high marks including the Intermediate RAD Ballet Exam. 

Miss Kayja was fortunate enough to take on ownership of United Dance in 2019, and looks forward to seeing the continued growth of the dancers in town. 


Michelle Jensen - Hip Hop Guest Instructor

Michelle (Meesh) Jensen was one of the co-founders of United Dance in 2015, and while she has moved on from teaching at the studio every day, she is excited to be involved with guest choreography in Hip Hop. She 


In the last few years, she has performed for professional singer Inez Jasper, and appears in several videos with "theTOMORROWS" shot by Lenny Len.  Miss Meesh loves teaching hip hop in Invermere as it allows her to share her knowledge and passion with the next generation of dancers. She has put in numerous hours of professional development training
